Changi Ferry Point 10.8km

Yesterday, we went all the way to Changi Ferry Point, parked at Ferry Point Road carpark and cycled through the beautiful tree-lined Coconut Grove - where there are more tall coniferous Firs rather than coconut trees. We went past the SAF Ferry Terminal where all our young men transit to Pulau Tekong for military training. Across the road on the left we cycled past the Airline and Cargo Complex but that stretch was busy with vehicles and more exhaust pollution. The cycle path was in quite close proximity to the main road. Towards the end, it was quieter at the Changi Point with a few bumboats taking visitors to Ubin Island. We stopped at Changi foodcourt to refuel with some nasi lemak and mee pok. Paul still find the nasi lemak at Binjai Park, the best, in his opinion. Re-energised we cycled the return, making a total of 10.8km, again a reasonably good performance for me!
