wartime mind-set

JP - For the Christians, war is not geographical, we need to have a wartime mindset, living in a secularized  world. It is being fought between good and evil in every human heart, especially in hearts where Christ is to be totally triumphant. It is fought along the line between sin and righteousness, integrity and corruption, sloth and diligence, pride and humility, truth and falsehood.
There is the beautiful moral high ground to be gained for the glory of God.
The Bible makes it plain that God's will is for his people to be scattered like salt and light among the whole range of secular vocations.
John 17:15-16 " I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one, they are not of the world just as I am not of the world."

I am convinced that we must be seeking and purposing our lives to be set on that moral high ground, that higher rock. Otherwise what differentiates the Christians? GOD wants us to be in the world, to represent Him, to be His fragrance 2Cor2:16 "through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him" .... "and who is equal to such a task?"
